ALL class awards two scholarships

LIMA - The Allen Lima Leadership Class of 2015 has awarded $500 Allen County Leader scholarships to Trevor Osting, a Spencerville High School senior, and Shannon Daley, a Lima Central Catholic senior.

Both students were members of the ALL Youth Class of 2016. Shannon will attend the University of Notre Dame’s Holy Cross College Gateway Program. Trevor will attend the University of Toledo.

Creating the scholarship program was the group’s class project, and is one of the many ways ALL classes continue to give back to their community.
To be eligible, a student must be an Allen County senior graduating from high school who is also a graduate of the Allen Lima Youth Leadership program. The scholarship is for expenses related to two or four year-college, military, vocational, or trade training.

This is the second year the class has awarded the scholarships.
